Teamwork
Presence is a community. Like any community, getting everyone together in one space at one time involves some coordination and just a little bit of grunt work. We place great value on sharing time together, and appreciate everyone’s help to chip in a little bit to help make the details happen! If you are a part of our community, please consider contributing to the task of making the gathering physically possible!
Here’s the “jobs” that need to happen every Sunday:
- Coffee prep – arriving at 10am to setup the coffee maker and start the miracle of percolation!
- Lunch prep – picking up the necessary groceries for lunch (keep the receipts–we reimburse the expenses from our common purse).
- Child-minding – setting up and sitting at the craft table and facilitating an array of artistically creative expressions!
- Chair setup and tear-down – arriving at 10am to setup chairs and putting them away after the service.
- Cleanup – washing mugs, minimal other dish-washing, and packing everything up for next week!
